Benefits of Private-Pay

There are advantages for paying out of pocket for counseling services, even if you have insurance. Confidentiality is the primary benefit. If you use your insurance for mental health services, the provider is required to submit a diagnosis to the carrier, thus your diagnosis becoming a part of your health records. Insurance companies also have the right to session notes and intake information that are completed by their providers.

I do not give a diagnosis nor does your information get reported to any entities without your consent.

Insurance

I do not accept or bill any insurance providers. Payment for sessions is private pay only. I am however, able to write billing statements that you can submit for reimbursement to your insurance directly when out of network payment is provided by your insurance provider.


I am committed to working with your financial needs whenever possible by finding an arrangement of services and scheduling sessions that achieve treatment goals and may be

affordable for your budget.
